After fracturing three ribs, I decided to try the Comfytemp Large Ice Pack for pain relief. The design is well thought out and easy to use. Although the cold duration is relatively short, about 15 to 20 minutes, it’s enough to provide the initial relief I need.

The large size of the pack covers the injured area well, and the strap keeps it in place. I’d recommend using an additional back brace for better compression if you plan on moving around. Still, this is the best solution I’ve found so far.
